Welcome to my little corner of the internet where you can find all the info about my marketing work a.k.a Marketing Mixology and my childrens books with a little bit of blogging about self employed / mama life thrown in for good measure to.
I started Marketing Mixology 1.0 in 2018, after gaining over a decade of experience working in a variety of sectors I wanted to take all I had learned and use that know-how to help small business owners reach their ideal customers and grow their businesses further. Since then I have worked with a wide range of businesses on a range of marketing goodness, from ad hoc campaign delivery to long term 121 delivery and I am truly grateful for all of those folks that put their faith in me. Because lets face it when you have a fabulous small business it’s like your baby so you want to be sure that the marketing of it is in safe hands and I’ll always be honoured that I was their trusted pair of marketing hands.
Since returning back to work after the arrival of my daughter it has felt like the right time to change up how things run over at Marketing Mixology. So not only has it got a new snazzy logo but the services offered have had a bit of a glow up to. Alongside my 121 programmes I now offer Power Hours and access to online tools which offer a bit more flexibility.
When I’m not being all nerdy about marketing I write childrens fiction. It’s something I have wanted to do since I was little, but it always felt a little out of my reach. BUT we can’t let limiting beliefs control us right!? So I have taken the leap and now pen tales for tiddlers that are all about being kind and loving who you are because I think we need more of that in the world.
Outside of work I am mama to a bloomin’ awesome little human – she has THE best laugh and is obsessed with dogs, cats, red pandas … in fact all animals. She is my little partner in crime and the only person in the land I will share a cheese scone with. I also love a cheeky box set binge watch with the husband and planning which part of the world we want to visit next.
Some random facts …
⚡️My fave film is Jaws, even though when I sneakily watched it as a kid I was terrified to get in the tub for like a month
⚡️ Life goal is to basically become one of the aunts in Practical Magic, wear lots of velvet, drink Margaritas and have a fab greenhouse 🙌
⚡️ My fave biccies are custard creams, they are life
⚡️ My fave season is Autumn - love a jumper / jacket combo
⚡️ I never drink coffee – I’m 100% a team tea (huge mug of Yorkshire tea, strong with 1 sugar = perfection)
