A brand new look

Hello there!!

Welcome to Julesbrim.co.uk the new home of Marketing Mixology and more. Grab yourself a cuppa and come have a look around.

Things are looking a little different round here so I thought I’d do a blog post to let you know whats new and what you can expect going forwards. Let’s get stuck in.

Where it all began

Just in case you’re new here, here’s a bit of background for you. In 2018 I decided to take the leap in to self employed life and launched Marketing Mixology. I had over a decade of marketing experience, in a variety of sectors and I wanted to take all I had learned and use that know-how to help small business owners reach their ideal customers and grow their businesses further.

Things took off and I’m delighted that during this time I’ve helped lots of wonderful business owners of all sizes and in a variety of sectors nail their marketing and smash their business goals in a variety of ways from supporting them with ad hoc campaign delivery and copywriting to strategy setting and long term 121 marketing management. Alongside my main business activities I also organised regular networking events for female founders based in Cambridgeshire. Offering them a space to connect with likeminded business women, share their knowledge and experiences and build networks based on collaboration and friendship.

Then we had a pandemic and the landscape changed, clients needed more flexibility to help them deal with lockdowns and new ways of working and connecting with their clients, I helped them change up their strategy, be more visible online and in some cases help out some clients for free to help them ride out the storm.

I also had some changes happening behind the scenes including growing a small human.

Since returning back to work after the arrival of my daughter it has felt like the right time to change up my branding and how things run over at Marketing Mixology. So please welcome Marketing Mixology 2.0.

What’s new?

So firstly we have a new home here at julesbrim.co.uk. It felt like the right time to start using my name as my business has evolved and now also includes my work as a childrens author and in the future will also include business coach and mentor services.

I’ve kept the Marketing Mixology name for the service line as whilst things are evolving with my business I’m not ready to say goodbye to the Marketing Mixology name just yet. It has been a huge part of my journey that has taken me from a situation that was no longer serving me to building a a business from scratch and pushing myself out of my comfort zone more times than I can remember.

Both the logo and services offered have had a bit of a glow up. The logo has evolved and has a more “grown up” feel reflecting my own growth since starting out in the world of self employment.

Services wise I have made some changes to reflect the current landscape. For larger businesses that are looking for support with growth I have a 121 programme called strategy and deliver. Which focuses on helping your big business plans become reality by setting up your marketing strategy and delivery to support them.

For smaller businesses and one human bands who need a bit more flexibility I now offer Power Hours and access to online tools and templates which provide a solid foundation to start your activity on.

Whats coming?

Marketing Mixology wise I will also be introducing some additional services such as workshops, copy writing and social media audits and support. I’ll also be sharing more tips and tricks over on socials and the blog to.

Wider business services such as business coaching and mentoring will also be added to the services roster for late 2024 early 2025 and finally this is also the home for my childrens book author work. This has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember and now in 2023 I am pushing myself to make it a reality.

Thanks to all of you who have supported me since starting Marketing Mixology. Clients that have trusted me with their wonderful businesses and fellow small biz folks who have collaborated with me, given me advice or lent an ear when I needed it. The story continues …
